NEPSE gained a more 0.35 points
Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index on Tuesday gained a mere 0.35 points to end at 462 points.
The benchmark index had moved in the negative territory on both Sunday and Monday.
Of the five groups that participated in the today's trading, three saw loss in their respective sub-indices.
The Hydropower group led the downturn spree as it shed 5.48 points to close the day at 776.05 point.
Similarly, insurance and finance groups saw their sub-indices declining by 4.91 points and 0.87 points to close the day at 520.33 points and 391.88 points respectively.
However, the groups of commercial banks and development banks, key players in the secondary market, inclined by of 0.99 points and 0.15 points to end at 435.22 points and 474.78 points respectively.
A total of 71,045 units of shares and 65 scrips worth Rs 26,578,156 changed hands through 715 transactions on Tuesday.
Total market capitalisation - total worth of listed shares in the secondary market - was recorded at Rs 364,468.64 million.
