UAE and Nepal sign agreement on Joint Coordination Committee
Nepal and United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed an important treaty concerning the Joint Coordination Committee. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sujata Koirala confirmed the signing of treaty between the two countries via telephone call to Reportersclub.com from UAE. Koirala is on five day visit to the Emirates. She has further informed that her visit has been very fruitful in strengthening mutual relationship and economic development of both countries.
She expressed her dissatisfaction on the rumors that have been in air in Nepal regarding her visit. She further asserted that the objective of here visit should be judged on the basis of achievement and not on the basis of protocol.
The agreement will now provide legal status to Nepali workers in the Emirates. Presently over one hundred thousand Nepalese are working in the Emirates. UAE has also shown it interest for investing in the Tourism industry of Nepal and Koirala will be soon meeting the delegates of UAE�s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
